A-ROSA ALEA and CLEA enrich the A-ROSA experience world
In 2024, we expanded our fleet with two special ships that operate on the Rhine and Main. With a length of just 110 meters, the two ships can call at even more exclusive ports than other A-ROSA ships already do. Accommodating up to 140 guests, they offer a very intimate travel experience, making them ideal for couples or small groups.
A new look and an even more welcoming atmosphere on board
Following their refurbishment, A-ROSA CLEA and A-ROSA ALEA now boast a modern, stylish interior. A new colour scheme, high-quality materials and numerous design updates in the public areas, as well as in the cabins and suites, create a bright, inviting atmosphere. New furniture, carpets, curtains and lighting create a harmonious overall look and offer even greater comfort on board.
Additional new features, such as water dispensers in the public areas, as well as ship-specific upgrades – including new cabin carpets on A-ROSA CLEA and a new grass-effect carpet on the sun deck of A-ROSA ALEA – round off the contemporary travel experience.

For a touch of luxury, our A-ROSA suites provide extra comfort. Elegantly designed and equipped with exclusive details, they offer a truly special experience. A unique feature is the bed’s orientation toward the window, allowing guests to wake up to a stunning view of their new destination.

Culinary delights & indulgence
On board A-ROSA ships, great emphasis is placed on high-quality cuisine. Experienced chefs create culinary highlights by cooking with ingredients typical of the region and fresh ideas, allowing guests to experience the flavours of a destination too. At the bar, skilled bartenders are ready to serve classic and custom-made drinks of the highest quality.
Inspired by the successful concept of A-ROSA ALVA on Portugal’s Douro River, we have brought a culinary favourite to the Rhine as well. At the dinner buffet, guests can choose from a diverse selection of appetizers and desserts, while the soup and main course are served à la carte at the table.

Itineraries with A-ROSA CLEA
Departing from Cologne, the 110-metre-long ship offers a variety of cruises from 3 to 7 nights along the southern Rhine, the Main and the Moselle. With extended stays in the ports and central berths on all itineraries, guests have plenty of time to explore and experience the destinations in depth. A-ROSA CLEA takes its guests to towns such as Strasbourg, Speyer, Breisach, Würzburg, Miltenberg, Düsseldorf, Bernkastel-Kues and Koblenz, as well as past the Loreley Valley and along the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the 5-night ‘Rhine Legends’ cruise, for example, A-ROSA CLEA sets sail from Cologne and travels via Rüdesheim, Speyer, Strasbourg, Mainz, the Loreley Passage and Koblenz before returning to Cologne.
Itineraries with A-ROSA ALEA
A ROSA ALEA sets off to 4- to 9-night cruises from Frankfurt am Main and Cologne along the northern and southern Rhine, as well as on the Main. In 2027, her portfolio will include major cities such as Amsterdam and Antwerp, smaller ports such as Karlstadt, and natural highlights such as the LoreleyValley. As with its sister ship, A ROSA ALEA calls at very central ports and offers extended stays, allowing guests to get to know the places they visit even more thoroughly. On the 5-night ‘Rhine Metropolises’ cruise, for example, A ROSA ALEA sets sail from Cologne and takes her guests via Willemstad, Antwerp, Amsterdam and Düsseldorf back to Cologne.
