Rostock, 04 October 2023 – From today, bookings can be made for the latest additions to A-ROSA’s fleet, A-ROSA ALEA and A-ROSA CLEA which will begin their season in April 2024. Both ships will sail various itineraries covering the Northern Rhine, the Southern Rhine and the Moselle and feature seven-night cruises until October, from when shorter five- and four-night options are then offered.

A-ROSA is offering great value introductory prices across 2024 for bookings made until the end of November. In addition to the line’s Super Early Booking Discount a Get-to-Know Bonus of 20 per cent off the cruise fare will be available.

A-ROSA ALEA will start the season on 5 April 2024, with seven night ‘Southern Rhine Experience’ itineraries offering a roundtrip from Cologne calling at Rudesheim, Speyer, Breisach, Basel, Strasbourg, Mainz plus sailing along the famous Loreley passage via Koblenz.

A-ROSA CLEA’s first focus will be on the tulip season, sailing from 7 April on ‘Rhine Experience North’ itineraries up to Belgium and the Netherlands with the chance to join an optional excursion to Keukenhof Garden’s during their annual springtime tulip flower festival. Departing from Cologne, she will visit Willemstad, Ghent, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Hoorn and Nijmegen.

From early May, both ships will alternate between seven-night itineraries on either the Moselle, Southern Rhine or Northern Rhine, depending on the departure date. From October onwards they will move to shorter four- and five-night cruises before moving onto Christmas Markets and festive options.

At 110 metres, the two ships are shorter than the other A-ROSA vessels on the Rhine, allowing them to sail directly into the heart of some ports and offer space for 138 (A-ROSA ALEA) and 140 (A-ROSA CLEA) guests.  Both have an intimate feel and boast an outdoor lounge area at the bow of the ship, perfect for soaking up the views. In addition, they will follow the same dining concept as featured on Douro ship A-ROSA ALVA, with buffet breakfast and lunch, whilst for dinner, starters and desserts are chosen from the buffet and the main course is conveniently served at the table.
