Rostock, 5 April 2022 – Fuel and operating material charges are rising continuously worldwide at the present time due to factors beyond our control. Although A-ROSA Flussschiff GmbH is also affected by this and price increases of eight per cent could be implemented in accordance with the EU Directive on Package Travel, there will no increases to travel prices for the 2022 season. Instead, A-ROSA CEO Jörg Eichler has issued a price promise: 'We are very pleased to have started the season on schedule at the beginning of March and to be able to launch the entire A-ROSA fleet once again this year. Our guests have shown confidence in us and have booked their well-deserved holidays on board our ships, and we will continue to offer them an unforgettable experience. We have consequently decided not to pass on the increased prices for fuel to our guests and we will keep our travel prices as they are for the entire season.’

All guests will therefore have peace of mind and can book their A-ROSA trips in 2022 at the advertised price. They can also continue to benefit from the wide range of special anniversary offers available with savings of up to 500 euros per person. This season, all families can once again look forward to the A-ROSA Kids Club during holiday times, while children up to 15 years of age can travel free of charge when accompanied by the guardians.

All A-ROSA ships have, since the very beginning, been equipped with a shore power connection, thanks to which they are able to shut off the engines in relevant ports. The fleet’s combustion engines have also gradually been replaced with fuel-efficient models. By doing so, every litre of fuel is used effectively and consumption is minimized. The new A-ROSA SENA with a hybrid drive system will also go into service in May 2022. It features a diesel-electric drive and a battery storage system which enables it to dock in cities practically silently and with zero emissions.
